Back to School Program Update

back_to_school_photo_08 Our Back to School Program is complete. Another school year has begun for many children and because of your generous donations they will be starting the year fully prepared! We were able to distribute 668 filled backpacks to some very happy children. Thank you!

Items needed for next year's drive: NEW ... backpacks, notebooks, notebook paper, pens, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, calculators, pocket folders, plastic rulers, three whole punch for notebooks, book covers, crayons, colored pencils, markers.

The goal of the Springfield Rescue Mission since 1892 has been to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted, and poor by introducing them to Christ and helping them apply the Word of God to every area of their lives. The Springfield Rescue Mission is a non-profit, Christian based Emergency Shelter and Rehabilitation Program providing food, clothing and shelter. No person is denied services based on race, creed, gender, or nationality.
