United Way Designations

United Way Designation:

If you are a United Way donor through your current employer or directly through your local United Way office, you can elect to have your donations go directly to the charity of your choosing. The Springfield Rescue Mission is on the United Way’s list of accepted charities and we’d be grateful for your donations! Pioneer Valley donors should assign the Springfield Rescue Mission as their United Way designated recipient by using code 6012 on your United Way donation form.

Mission Policy for Donations

The Springfield Rescue Mission is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Monetary gifts are 100% tax deductable. Year end gifts of cash, checks, stocks, real or personal property must be received or dated and postmarked prior to December 31st of the calendar year in which the donor will take the tax deduction for such gifts. Gift-In-Kind donations are tax-deductible with a completed Gift-In-Kind form, which has been signed by a Mission representative. All donations are tax exempt to the fullest extent of the law.
